Christmas
Christmas was so much fun this year for all of us. We get together Christmas Eve with Josh's family. We had a great dinner and Josh's mom did a skit with her nativity set. I loved it. We all really enjoyed dinner and time with all of Josh's sisters and brothers.
We stayed the night at Josh's parents house and opened presents with them in the morning. Malaki was so excited to rip off the wrapping paper. I think that he really enjoys all of his toys that he got this year. Including TRUCKS, blocks, movies, rocking horse, wibble wabbles, play dough, cash register, and some other child games.
I decided that for Christmas this year Malaki was going to get things he can take to church. We gave him a foam clock, coloring books, books, silent books, sketch thing, and cards to play with. So far it has worked to keep him calm in church. I have made it just a Sunday bag, he gets really excited to play with it. I have to tell him we have to wait for a special day for that bag.
Josh got some new shirts and pants. He got a pocket knife. That is about it for him. I got some clothes, and a Christus. We haven't really spent a lot on each other for Christmas this year because we got a new car and soon we will be buying a home and that is what I really want until next year that is......Just kidding
My parents came up Christmas day. Malaki was spoiled again. He loved to open his presents. My parents gave him tons of things, he will be good for awhile with new toys.
My parents decided to stay in a hotel when they came up so we went swimming at the hotel later that night. Malaki has not been swimming a ton due to the weather situations up here. He was a little nervous at first then he loved it. He is a little water bug. It was pretty cold water so we didn't stay in the pool to long and Malaki loved that so he could go up and down the elevator and run down the hotel hallway.
We had a great Christmas this year and loved being with FAMILY! It is such a blessing to be pretty close to both or our parents. We have been very blessed this year.
